We recognize and understand that many students have been unsuccessful in traditional high school settings and have often been pushed out due to inequities in the system. That’s why we create an environment for OUR students to succeed (free adult education for anyone ages 16-96). We tackle the issues of inequity in education and work to close the achievement gap. We provide YOU with a different educational experience than YOU’VE previously encountered using our unique, student-tailored model, which focuses on student engagement, quality instruction, progress monitoring, and successful transitions. YOU can study at learning centers, online, or home through independent study.

 YOUR PERSONALIZED MAP TO SUCCEED

Upon enrollment and available transcript review, you get a Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) based on your individual goals and needs – this is your road map while you’re with us. Your PLP includes academic and personal goals, actions to meet each goal, and monthly success indicators. When creating your PLP, teachers also take into consideration your technology needs (which we help with) along with social, emotional, and traumatic factors which may have, in the past, impede your ability to learn, and we develop individual learning strategies just for you. Plus, you get a schedule, a monthly class calendar, and a map to graduation – focused on areas you need to get your high school diploma and meet California standards.

Each semester, you and your teachers refine the map together to get you to the finish line.
