Shanley Rhodes

Shanley began her career in public education in South Los Angeles as an English teacher at a comprehensive LAUSD high school. Over the past 20 years, she helped to launch 2 charter high schools, including one serving system-impacted youth who are affiliated with Homeboy Industries. She has worked for Five Keys since 2014. In her current role she oversees Five Keys high school diploma, vocational, and life skills programs in the Los Angeles County Jail system. Shanley holds a BA from Brown University, an MFA from Naropa University, and an EdD from UCLA.
